Cop : "That's not necessarily a bad thing"

What the heck? Did this cop just endorse the "show me your papers" mandates of the nazi regime?

 I would love to tell the cop the statistical rule that "Correlation does not imply causation". Just because there were not attacks doesn't mean it was caused by the TSA or the "war on terror".
