For one 4-month-old boy, his teeth came in a bit early — but they weren’t in his mouth. In what can easily be described as a totally freakish medical discovery, doctors have found teeth inside a rare brain tumor the baby had, according to report published in the Feb. 27 edition of the New England Journal of Medicine. Signs of trouble with the boy arose when doctors noticed his head was growing faster than normal. Upon doing a brain scan (above), they noticed a tumor that contained what appeared to be teeth that would be found in a person’s lower jaw. They were able to perform surgery to remove the tumor, along with its teeth. He is making good developmental progress, and as part of his follow-up, he currently undergoes routine MRI, the NEJM reports. The Ministry of Forest and Soil Conservation has given the go-ahead to conduct a detailed project report (DPR) of the proposed Simara-Tamsariya railway line. The DPR of the Chitwan section had been held up for the last eight months after the Department of Forest and Chitwan National Park (CNP) refused to let the study be done citing environmental concerns. Department officials said that they received permission to conduct the DPR last week after the proposed rail route was realigned to avoid core areas of the national park. A 7-km stretch of the railroad passes through the centre of CNP, according to the Department of Railways. Located in south central Nepal, CNP is the home of the famed one-horned rhino and is a popular jungle safari destination. An arrest warrant has been issued for former NFL player Darren Sharper and his acquaintance, according to the New Orleans Police Department. The 38-year-old is accused of raping two women in New Orleans last September.  Both Sharper and his acquaintance, Erik Nunez, 26, each face two counts of aggravated rape. Last week, investigators learned that not one, but two women were allegedly sexually assaulted by Sharper in the same apartment the night of September 23rd.  New information uncovered also indicates that Nunez also allegedly raped both women that night at the same location. Louisiana law states that a person convicted of committing aggravated rape shall be punished by life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
