As many as 16 people were injured in a jeep accident at Simichaur VDC in the district on Thursday morning.
Police said a jeep, Lu 1 Ja 1413, bound for religious spot Supa Deurali based in Arghakhanchi, carrying pilgrims from Simichaur VDC, met with an accident at Rangbas today morning.
Of the injured, the condition of the three victims is said to be critical. They are Nir Bahadur Thapa, 42, Dipank Pandeya, 18, and Santosh Pandeya, 19, of Simichaur VDC.
According to Dr Hari KC, Superintendent at Gulmi District Hospital, critically injured Santosh has been referred to Palpa-based Lumbini Medical College after preliminary treatment at the district hospital.
Likewise, the others injured in the mishap are Sagar Pandeya, 17, Kamala Pandey, 30, Maya Pandeya, 38, Hem Bahadur Pandey, 40, Dambar Bahadur Pandey, 39, Goma Paney, 35, Kansi Basnet, 35, among others.
The victims are undergoing treatment at District Hospital, Tamghas.
