Bus accident due to over speeding; 22 injured

KANCHANPUR, NOV 06 -
At least 22 passengers were injured when a bus (Na 4 Kha 4225) bus bound for Dhangadhi from Mahendranagar met with an accident at Bhansi of Kanchanpur district along the East-West Highway on Tuesday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Brikha Bahadur Rawal said that condition of six injured is critical. Of them, five have been rushed to India for further treatment while one was admitted to a hospital in Attariya, Kailali.
Similarly, 18 others are undergoing treatment at Mahakali Zonal Hospital. Most of the injured are women.
DSP Rawal said that the accident took place after the driver lost control of the bus reportedly due to over speeding. RSS
