Candidates' vehicles torched in Dang, Arghakhachi, Baglung

Vehicle belonging to Nepali Congress candidate from Dang-2, Sushila Chaudhary, was torched by unidentified men on Wednesday night.

The Bolero Jeep (Lu 1 A 4523) parked at the house of local Yubaraj Bhusal at Lalmatiya-4 was torched at around 2 last night.

Both the front tyres of the jeep have been damaged in the inferno. Meanwhile, police have been investigating the incident.

Likewise, the vehicle (Ba 9 Cha 9646) was vandalised at Satbariya-1 of the district. It has been learnt that the employee of NCELL was driving the vehicle during the vandalism.

Rayamajhi's vehicle torched

Vehicle belonging to UCPM (Maoist) candidate from Arghakhachi-1, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, was torched in the district headquarters last night.

The jeep (Lu 1 Ja 2360) was torched by unidentified group while parking at Pump line along the road side in the midnight.

The inner part of the jeep has been completely damaged in the fire.

NFL player Darren Sharper

An arrest warrant has been issued for former NFL player Darren Sharper and his acquaintance, according to the New Orleans Police Department. The 38-year-old is accused of raping two women in New Orleans last September.  Both Sharper and his acquaintance, Erik Nunez, 26, each face two counts of aggravated rape. Last week, investigators learned that not one, but two women were allegedly sexually assaulted by Sharper in the same apartment the night of September 23rd.  New information uncovered also indicates that Nunez also allegedly raped both women that night at the same location. Louisiana law states that a person convicted of committing aggravated rape shall be punished by life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence. The investigation continues and additional arrests are possible. In all, Sharper is now being investigated in eight cases in five states on accusations of sexual crimes.
