KATHMANDU, The Weather Forecasting Division of Nepal has said the impact of the Phailin cyclone that started from the Bay of Bengal is being seen in Nepal as well.
The impact has caused heavy rains in the eastern and mid-Terai region of Nepal and sporadic rains in Kathmandu valley, said Senior Weather Expert Bidyaratna Shakya.
He said the impact will remain in Nepal for three to four days, but three will be less effect in the western region.
The cyclone will originate from sea and will subside over land. Phailin has affected life in various places of India.
Monsoon will remain here as there will be rain in Nepal's atmosphere until its impact in Nepal, said Shakya. End of monsoon will be declared after it gets ineffective. RSS
